Does anyone know how the lights at the junction of Seven Sisters Road and Blackstock Road are supposed to work? Drivers heading east along Seven Sisters Road never know whether to turn right when the light in front of them turns red.

If you don't turn on red then traffic coming out of Stroud Green Road and heading south into Blackstock Road can't cross the junction.

A friend of ours was stopped by the police recently for jumping the red light!!

It's been an issue ever since they redesigned the road system there and changed the one-way system. It causes traffic to back up down Stroud Green Road on a regular basis.

Yes, It is a bit of a balls up by TFL. Once the filter has turned red you are meant to stop, but then have cars heading south around you. I think your friend would have good reason to appeal if they got a ticket.
