Women boutique is called Colibri: http://tinyurl.com/6fw5u2q
It's not only clothing but fine chocolate too.
Colibri Fashion boutique now selling mensware too.
Speaking with the owner it appears under a new name Hot Rod Fashion which will soon be more visible.
Outside that, there is an Icecream shop called Vienna something on Blackstock Rd corner with Brownswood Rd and a Naan bread bakery almost on the corner with Somefield Rd.
Last but not least, Sainsbury's local will open where the Turkish convenient store just closed, opposite to N4 library / college.
The Sainsbury's Local story went on for more than a year.
Apparently they tried once with the Turkish shop, then thet treid opening where 99p is now, but I've heard that 99p store put a better offer or something like that.
In the end they went back to the Turkish and took the place.
Meanwhile the guy from the Turkish shop pushed out the next door lady and took the place applying for a license to sell alcohol until late in the night.
Application that found local opposition and so reduced the opening time.
Spicy stories around that place.
All over Blackstock Road is changing a lot, and in better bit a bit.
I can't dream of the day that most of the dodgy cafes are gone and we get some "normal" places.
Re the clothes shop in 213 Blackstock Road, the menswear apparently comes with a different name - Hot Rod Fashion - and website: http://tinyurl.com/3b84hhv
Colibri Fashion (http://tinyurl.com/6fw5u2q) in 213 Blackstock Road started a Xmas gift promotion giving a 20% discount on all their clothing, women and men selections.
Sound a good promotion to help our local shops too, and what they sell is really good stuff.
January Sales started this week @ Colibri Fashion with up to 60% off womenswear and meanswear.
Most of womenswear is at 50% off, so a real bargain.
