At this year's show there will be 6 balcony-sized pots to get Londoners to start growing stuff in small places - 7th to 12th July www.rhs.org.uk

Aside from Captain Planet uniting the power rings and disappearing in a blaze of glory, this seems like a superb idea to keep the British love of horticulture alive and blossoming.
