This is to warn people about walking through Finsbury Park late at night.
My son has had 4 expensive Mobile Phones taken from him on separate occasions near the Park gates in Finsbury Park, this was where he crossed the street following a night out. This would be over a period of 3 years, during which he was mugged twice by a group of East Europeans, & twice more by foreign pickpockets who took his phone after knocking against him in the street, thats 4 times in the same place between 12.30am & 2.30am.
He was also mugged of his phone on the corner of SevenSisters Rd & Queens Drive N4, which is just along from the Park Gates on the other side of the street. The robber on that occasion was a young blackman.
I have been robbed myself in the daytime in Finsbury Park by a group of East Europeans as i walked by the Park Gates.
My wife was robbed of her handbag which included £50 in her purse & her house keys, which meant all the locks on our house had to be changed. This happened again in Finsbury Park. These robberies all occurred in recent years.
So beware all those who think that Finsbury Park is a nice place to live, because it is not,& unfortunately its not much different anywhere else in London, its full of thieves & robbers & all sorts of crime including drugs & prostitution on a large scale & especially in the Finsbury Park area.
