Codasign Creative Technology Workshops for Kids

We're running some MaKey MaKey and Scratch workshops for children at Furtherfield Gallery in Finsbury Park during February which will teach them how to make animations and games through computer programming but also about physical interaction design. Workshops are for 6-9 year olds and for 9-12 year olds. A parent can accompany up to three children. Dates and workshop topics are:

Saturday 9th February:
Scratch Workshop for 6-9 Year Olds (10am - 12pm)

The children will learn to make an animation or game but also learn a bit about simple computational thinking.

Saturday 16th February:
MaKey MaKey workshop for 6-9 Year Olds (10am - 12pm)

MaKey MaKey workshop for 9-12 Year Olds (1pm - 4pm)

The children will learn about computational thinking and interaction design by hooking the MaKey MaKey up to a variety of different things and will make an instrument or game.

Scratch and MaKey MaKey for 6-9 Year Olds (10am - 12pm)

The children will learn similar things as in the other workshops but will get MaKey MaKey and Scratch talking to each other. The outcome will be to create an instrument or a game.
