WORLDbytes, a unique online Citizen TV channel, trains volunteers to produce hard-hitting news reports that challenge the status quo and provide insightful commentary on the news of our day. We don't need CVs or people with experience but an interest in social issues is a must as our Citizen TV channel prioritises content over style. We will provide you with the skills you need to get started and produce high-quality news reports. From free film training and administrative essentials to digital marketing, there's a chance to have a real go at all that high impact programme making involves. Our volunteer-learner package involves part-time training 'on the job' and includes some weekend days and evenings. Taking place over a six week period it revolves around a cycle of new programmes and results in up to six reports being broadcast and promoted online across the web.
Our next volunteer introductory evening will take place on Thursday 19th July. You can apply online here: http://tinyurl.com/42csg4x

This is a really interesting idea to get involved with. I imagine lots of students will be interested.
