N4 Stories update

Work is underway on N4 Stories at the Park Theatre, and writer Sarah Rutherford is keen to collect even more stories on what Finsbury Park means to individuals, families and communities. The new theatre commission hopes to be inspired and informed by the people of Finsbury Park in as many ways as possible.

So far we’ve talked to people from community organisations, the church and the health service," says Sarah. "We’ve got a long way to go, but already the creative juices are flowing!"

"Finsbury Park as an area is pretty hard to pin down, and that’s what is going to make this such a fascinating project to work on," she adds.  "The play could take off in all sorts of different directions. Right now what’s capturing my imagination is the way so many diverse communities coexist here, and that’s something I want to explore a lot more."
