Heading out to a New Year's Eve party?
-
Heading out of Finsbury Park tonight? Take advantage of free travel - but make sure you plan in advance.
Tube and some rail services will run all night, and night and 24 hour
buses will run as normal. Travel on tubes, buses and London Overground
will be free tonight from 11.45pm to 4.30am.
Tubes
will run a reduced Saturday service through the night, and buses will
also run a Saturday service. If you're heading into the centre of
London for the fireworks or a party, remember that roads will be closed
from this evening and some tube stations will also be closed or exit only after
11.30pm. Check your NYE travel at this page.
TfL
advise you plan your journey (including your return journey) in advance
and leave plenty of time to get to the viewing areas if going to the
fireworks. Listen out for an exclusive DJ set from radio 1's Nihal!
This
weekend is your last opportunity to enjoy 2010 travel prices, as new
fares with a 6.8% rise come into effect on Sunday 2 January. The new
fares are listed here.
