Around 1,000 athletes atended Saturday's 10k run, with a further 2,000 women joining Sunday's 5k run in the park. The charity hopes to raise £320,000 from the Finsbury Park runs alone in entrance fees and sponsorship donations.
Racers were entertained on both days with dance and aerobics demonstrations, and music from Heart FM. Race for Life
began in London in 1994 and has grown into
the UK's biggest all-female fundraising event. We've posted our photos of the event here - do let us know if you took part and add your pictures online!

ReportHi Lise,
The Rainforest Foundation is organising a 10K Run in Finsbury Park on September 5th. This year is the 10th anniversary of this annual event and we are trying to recruit as many runners as possible.
I saw you were involved with Race for Life; is there any way you could help us promote our 10K as well.
Any suggestions will be more than welcome.
Many thanks,
Matilde
