The quartley area assembly for residents of Crouch End, Hornsey and
Stroud Green will discuss changes to Haringey's Community Health and
Primary Care Services. These changes include the end of walk-in
services at Hornsey Neighbourhood Health Centre on Park Road,
announced last week.
The future role of the Health Centre
will also be discussed at the meeting, which will take place at the
Priory Road Entrance of Priory Park at 2pm on Saturday 4 September. The
Area Assembly is an opportunity for residents to raise concerns, hear
proposals, and discuss important issues.
Stroud Green's three
councillors Richard Wilson, Ed Butcher and Katherine Reece are all expected
to attend, along with councillors for neighbouring Stroud Green and
Hornsey wards. The meeting will also discuss jobs and volunteering
opportunities at the 2012 Olympics, and Haringey's "Making the Difference" community funding programme.
The full agenda for the September 4 meeting can be found here. For more information about the meeting or the area assembly, contact Bob Goldsmith on 020 8489 4531.
