Thanks for all your suggestions for activities and fun things to do over the summer holidays. We've rounded them up here and added a few of our own.

Finsbury Park is a great place for fun, whatever the weather.
The newly refurbished ice rink at Sobell Leisure Centre opens on Monday, with Family sessions from 7.45 - 9.15pm on Tuesdays, 7.15 - 8.45pm on Fridays and 9.45 - 11.15am on Sundays. Sessions cost £4 for skaters, including skate hire, and guardians can watch for free if not skating.
If your young ones have been inspired by Rafael Nadal this summer, try a holiday course at Islington Tennis Centre. 5-day courses from Monday to Friday start weekly from Monday 26 July, and run from 10am-12noon for 5-8 year olds and 1-4pm for 9-15 year olds. Courses are run indoors and cost from £60.
Bookworms will enjoy getting involved with Space Hop, the 2010 Summer Reading Challenge, which rewards reading with stickers and prizes. This summer's challenge has an outer space theme, with events and reading lists to help young readers boldy go where no-one has gone before.
Events at the Blackstock Road library include an afternoon of space songs and stories for the under-5s with Terry on 29 July from 2:30 to 4:30pm, a chance to make astronaut pop-up cards on 17 August and an alien headband craft workshop on 26 August. We'll be checking back in with the reading challenge throughout the summer, so let us know how you're getting on.
Arsenal FC will be continuining their Kickz community sport programme throughout the summer. Suitable for ages 10-19, just turn up at Elthorne Park on Hornsey Road to join in.
Ambler Children's Centre will be running a Picnic in the Park on 23 July from 10am to 2pm, with musical instruments, ball games and parachute games. The picnic is free and open to all ages, but booking is required. Contact Selina Laville on 020 73597628 or email chilldrenscentre@ambler.islington.sch.uk for information or to book.
Thanks to Lela34 for letting us know about holiday swimming courses at Clissold Leisure Centre. There's also a summer holiday programme of activities at nearvy Archwway Leisure Centre. Don't forget, the park itself has tennis and basketball courts, a children's playpark and a boating lake, as well as 46 hectares of green space for informal games (or just lolling).
The Ofsted-registered Isledon Village Summer Playscheme runs from 26 July to 20 August, with arts and crafts, music and dance, sports and days out. Booking is required and the scheme costs £5 a day. Phone 07951 296 130 or email isledonvillageplayscheme@hotmail.co.uk for more information.
Finally, don't forget the Lollibop in Clissold Park this weekend! Let us know if we've missed out any activities you know about - and let's hope that lot keeps your tearaways occupied for the next six weeks!
