Councillor Richard Wilson has raised concerns with Haringey Council about the condition of Inderwick Road following a communication from a cyclist who was injured on the road recently.

The council will patch reported holes in the borough, but Cllr Wilson is campaigning for a full resurfacing of the road, which is part of the London Cycle Network. Writing in his blog, Wilson says "A large number of cyclist whizz down the steep road and I am worried that potholes could cause another serious accident."

At a meeting with the council this month, a Haringey senior highways officer said the road could not be resurfaced within this financial year. "I pressed them very hard to make Inderwick road a top priority for next

year and I just hope that they will remember the visit when it comes to

setting the priorities next time," says Wilson.

"Until then," he adds, "I will continue to tell

cyclists and motorcyclists to avoid the road."

If you need to report a pothole, use this online form, telephone 020 8489 1335 or email potholes@haringey.gov.uk.
