The Big Lunch - Saturday 19th July
By kemblek | Monday, July 13, 2009, 12:29
What's the idea?
"Imagine a summer's day on which thousands of us, throughout the UK, sit down to have lunch together, with our neighbours in the middle of our streets, around our tower blocks and on every patch of common ground. The food, entertainment and decorations we will have either grown, cooked, or created ourselves. This will be a day to break bread with our neighbours, to put a smile on Britain's face."
It's not too late to get involved; there are already lunches planned in Queen's Drive, Middleton Grange, Gloucester Drive and Woodstock Road.

This is quite funny and Finsbury Park gets a mention - not one for the kids though - tinyurl.com/l4bnge
