Without apprehension

I can speak on behalf of the nation, and probably further afield, and announce
that 2009 has been a tough old year.
For me
personally, I decided to avoid the choice of joining the hustle and bustle of
the night clubs this New Year’s Eve and instead admired the fireworks display in
central London.
However, I
was not the only one with this cunning plan. I was joined by thousands and
despite this, the commute to and from the event was pleasantly undisruptive.
The
highlight of the evening came at the stroke of midnight when the multitude of
glamorous luminosity began to shaver the London Eye.
Following
the beautiful display I left the arena bright and warm with my blood bubbling
with joy, even though outside my body was being enveloped by flakes of snow.
This was
one of the most wonderful conclusions of the year I have ever had and now I
look forth to 2010 with prosperity and optimism.
