According to the the Evening Standard, Finsbury Park Station with 125 cycle spaces is 7th in the cycle space league table for busy London stations. Not sure that this is necessarily good news for Finsbury Park locals (although it's always nice to be in the top 10 for something) as it just means that the station is extra busy on account of the added cyclist traffic.

Probably a good idea to get behind the campaigns to get more facilities built so that London's cyclist can park elsewhere.

    Hi Kemblek,

Not sure I get the gist of your story here. The cycling facility at FP is recognised as being world class:

In terms of the  "station is extra busy on account of the added cyclist traffic.I don't see your point. " It might be worth you noting that FP station had over 26million passangers last year. So the 125 cycling spots are small numbers.
The whole point of having cycle parking at stations is to make transport interchanging better. Many of the users of the facility, get off trains at FP , and then rather than use the tube, jump on their bikes into town!

    Your thoughts?

I think it's great to have so many spaces for bikes.  I have never seen the spaces filled, which makes life as a cyclist much easier.
