Hackney Labour Group and FinFuture in row over Blackstock Road cleanup
By kemblek | Monday, June 29, 2009, 11:56
Hackney Labour Party recently circulated a flyer containing an article entitled 'Your Labour councillors fight to clean up Blackstock Road'. However local regeneration group FinFuture claims that the work was carried out by them in conjunction with the Police, Islington Council and the Arab Advice Bureau. Paul Morris, chairman of FinFuture, said that Hackney councillor Brian Bell had agreed to circulate a correction but had so far failed to do so.
What doesn't appear to be entirely clear is whether the initiatives have had a significant and long-lasting effect on the area. Let's hope that the credit is worth fighting over!

These things never make any long-term impact. This argument sounds so petty. Why don't they spend their time and effort doing good rather than arguing over who's done it?
