Rise Festival cancelled

The Rise Festival was trully a great event in the Finsbury Park diary - and indeed in Londons.

100,000 people cant be wrong and how many other FREE festivals are there?

Alas it has been quietly cancelled this year.

Oh poopers. It's all 'bout the money, hey? I guess capitalism could only get us so far... and then financial greed takes over and devours all morality and ethics.
Ehe... I am quite upset when they cancel festivals. The woodstock spirit still rages... (on VHS, but now also on Blue-ray and DVD)

It isn't set to be reinstated but UpRise organisers aren't yet admitting defeat: they're set to hold a Rise Festival picnic in Finsbury Park this Sunday, from 2pm - All Welcome
