My new favourite North London hangout
Really fantastic old pub with huge amounts of atmosphere, great beer and space! The first time I popped in here for a beer I must have spent a good 10 minutes just exploring its cavernous interior! Some gorgeous old features here, and a really friendly atmosphere. Good selection of drinks too, and the jukebox belts out hit after hit. I will be back :)

Beautiful old hotel
The Salisbury is a great big place right in the action on Greenlanes - a cavernous space with original features and open fires surrounding a central bar (complete with spit trough). The beer's good - the very decent Litovel and Palm lagers on draught. Service is a bit hit and miss but always friendly enough - the clientele vary from the old men you'd expect to plenty of local trendy types. A proper mix of a place with a relaxed atmosphere - ideal for kicking back with a group.
