Tag Rugby adult competitions in Finsbury Park this season

The team at Try Tag Rugby have announced a series of summer Tag
-
A nice game of tag in the park.
Rugby competitions starting on 22 April in Finsbury Park.
Tag Rugby is a minimal contact team
game in which each player wears shorts with velcro patches with two
tags attached to them. Play is very similar to Rugby League,
with attacking players attempting to dodge, evade and pass a rugby ball,
while defenders attempt to prevent them scoring by "tagging" - pulling
a velcro attached tag from the ball carrier.
Backline play is
actively encouraged and the ball is allowed to touch the ground.
Kicking in general play is allowed but it must be below shoulder height
of the referee and only on the first, 5th & last plays.
Mixed, men's and a ladies competition will be
played at 6 different locations across London. The second half of the
summer season (starting June 29th) will see competitions commence at 7
venues across London.
The Finsbury Park competitions for Men and Ladies will take place on Thursdays, beginning on 22 April.
To register, please download the respective team registration form or individual registration form from the Try Tag Rugby website, and return them to
info@trytagrugby.com. To guarantee your position in a competition,
a deposit of £100 is required for teams and £15 for individuals.
The first 25 teams (or equivalent individuals) to register will be entitled to a free
set of playing shirts. Registrations close on April 15th, so get in
fast to avoid missing out!
